Elizabeth Rogers Carter, 87, of Florence, S.C., died Monday, December 5, 2011 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. She was born in Lake View, S.C. the daughter of the late Sidney and Pare Ivey Rogers. Mrs. Carter is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Robert Carter, Sr. and her son, Robert (Robbie) Carter, Jr. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Jean McKnight of Florence, S.C.; two granddaughters, Tina Rena (Carl) Bullock and Regina Elizabeth (Randy) Waddell and five great-grandchildren, Zachary Lynch, Ashton Waddell, Brittany Pritchard, Marisa Schultz and Robert Joseph "RJ" Schultz. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in Lake View Perpetual Cemetery in Lake View, S.C. directed by Cain Funeral Home.
