Elease N. Webb, 89, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at the McLeod Hospice House.

Mrs. Webb was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late Palmer M. and Ella Hewitt Norton. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Florence and was an avid supporter and loyal fan of Francis Marion University Athletics, especially, baseball and basketball and earlier in life enjoyed camping in the Great Smokey Mountains She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by her loving husband, Joseph Nathaniel Webb who passed away in 2012; a son, Palmer Webb; two sisters; and a brother. Surviving are her daughter, JoAnn (Edsel) Williams of Britton's Neck; a son, Spyder Webb of Florence; a sister, Doris Blanton Poston of Florence; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in the chapel of Cain-Calcutt-Stephens Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the McLeod Hospice House, FMU Foundation for Athletics, or to the Connie Maxwell Children's Home.
