A funeral service for Eleanor Bishop Swymer, will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 4, 2008, in Cain Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Mr. Jim Yarian. Interment will follow at Florence National Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, at the funeral home. Mrs. Swymer, 74, of Kingston,TN, formerly of Florence, died Monday, December 1, 2008, at her residence. She was born April 29, 1934, in Fitzgerald, GA, to the late Bruce and Arlee Alexander Bishop. She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Alvin F. Swymer, Sr. and a brother, Watson Bishop. Surviving, are: daughter; Sheree' Swymer Mowery of Kingston, TN, sons; Al (Tracie) Swymer of Harriman, TN, and Mike (Renee) Swymer of Kingston, TN, grandchildren; Jason Mowery, Elizabeth Swymer, Samuel Swymer, Kimberly Swymer Ingles, Nathaniel Swymer, Karen Swymer, Catie Swymer, Tony Swymer, and Nicholas Swymer; great-grandchild; Katy Beth Ingles; brother, Robert (Emily) Bishop of Eaton, GA; sisters, Minnie (Bubba) Bishop Davis of Fitzgerald, GA, Mary Bishop Hathaway of Pensacola, FL, and Sue Bishop Rutherford of Fitzgerald, FL.
