Barry was born in Aiken, SC on July 13, 1955. He was a General Mechanic at WestRock Paper Mill until his retirement in 2015. His love of machinery and making things run always gave him "The Need For Speed". Building a drag race car, winning some. This was his passion. Barry loved to fish. He took great pride in teaching his son, Bradley, everything he knew about fishing and how to have fun too.

Barry is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley Moore Harrison, son, Bradley Dylan Harrison (Carly) and daughter, Chandler Moore Harrison (Jake), grandchildren, Jayla Lynn Harrison and Lincoln Calhoun Church. His happiness was his love for his children and adored his grandchildren. Barry is also survived by his sister, Patricia Harrison Hughes (Larry), niece, Cristy Hughes Beller (Chris) and nephew Michael David Hughes (Erika) and many nieces, cousins and extended family in the Rep. of Panama. Barry had many life long friends through the years and they were all so special to him. Schatzi, his fur baby gave him such love and comfort.
The family will have a Memorial service at a later time. If you wish to make a donation in his name, CarnationFoundation.org is an organization within Agape' Hospice. Their support and daily visits were such a comfort, or you may donate to a charity of your choice.
