Edna Marie Ard Fludd, 98, of Florence, S.C. died Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Regency Hospital of Florence, S.C.. She was born in Mullins, S.C., a daughter of the late William C. and Viola Isgette Ard. She and her husband, the late Albert Wesley Fludd were owners and operators of Fludd's of Florence for 28 years. Mrs. Fludd was a charter member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and was a devoted volunteer for local nursing homes and hospitals for many years. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 3, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at Cain Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Matt Walton and the Rev. Dr. Perry Mobley. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 P.M. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery directed by Cain Funeral Home.
