A memorial service for Mrs. Eddie Lynne Young Carr, wife of James Ross Carr will be at 3:00 PM, Thursday February 10, 2011 at Pisgah United Methodist Church, conducted by Dr. Lloyd Birch and Rev. J. Michael Arant. The family will recieve friends from 6:30-8:00 PM Wednesday at 3490 Cherrywood Rd. Florence, SC 29501. Memorials may be made to Susan G. She was born March 26, 1948, in Roanoke, VA to the late Ed and Lois Apshire Young. Mrs. Carr was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church. She recieved her undergraduate from Mary Washington College, and her graduate degree from the University of Georgia. She was employed by the South Carolina Department of Special Needs in Florence. Surviving in addition to her husband are: sons, Ross Carr and Clay Carr both of Florence; and a sister, Billie Sue Blackwell.
