Dwight Garnet Bass, 64, of Darlington, SC died Wednesday, October 17, 2012 in Florence, SC. He was born July 16, 1948 in Florence, SC to Catherine Broach Bass and the late Verner "V.G." Bass. Mr. Bass was a member of Christian Assembly Church. Survivors include: daughters - Leigh (Chuck) Rogers and Rachel (Gregg) Windham both of Florence; significant other - Joan Smith of Darlington; grandchildren - Evanne Rogers, Gracen Rogers, Walker Rogers, Kamryn Windham and Morgan Windham; and mother of children - Donna Edwards Bass of Florence. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Christian Assembly Church, officiated by Pastor Rabon Stewart.
