Dustin William Gibbs, infant son of Joshua Mickal Gibbs and Delaney Bessenger Gibbs, passed away Sunday morning, September 6, 2026.

Dustin was born on July 26, 2026 in Florence, SC. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Kyle and Bobbie Gibbs, and Bill and Robin Bessenger; uncles, Adam Bessenger and Daniel Gibbs; aunt, Mary Leslie Bessenger; great-grandmother, Esther Beach; and his two fur siblings, Remi and Delilah.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all of the staff in the McLeod NICU for their love and support.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the McLeod NICU, www.mcleodfoundation.org, or to the American Red Cross, www.redcross.org.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 am Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Church at Sandhurst, 1140 Third Loop Road, with a memorial service to follow in the church sanctuary at 11:00 am.
