Dorothy Mabel Zeimetz, 95, of Florence, SC, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020, at her residence.  She was born in Embden, ND, a daughter of the late David and Anna Henschel Fraase.  She is also predeceased by her husband, John I. Zeimetz; two daughters, Jean Marie deKoster and Kathleen Ellen Zeimetz; and two sisters, Lois Hoffke and Leona Christensen.

Mrs. Zeimetz was a former member of Christian Assembly Church where she loved to sing in the choir. She was a great cook and baker!  She loved and cherished her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, David Thomas Zeimetz, Joseph Mark Zeimetz and John Paul Zeimetz; five daughters, Cecilia Ann Rowedder, Mary Lou Rainone, Patricia Ann Levy, Bernadette Jane Orgoch and Christine Marie Turner; four sisters, Rose Thompson, Marion Manthei, Janice Stevenson and Patricia Sahaydak; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, in the Cain Calcutt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the Florence National Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.
