Dorothy Ayers Lamm, 94, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at McLeod Hospice House. Born in Tarboro, NC, she was the daughter of the late Walter Scott and Viola Vick Ayers. She is also predeceased by her husband, Edward R. Lamm, Sr. She is survived by her sons, Edward R. (Donna) Lamm, Jr. of Jefferson, NC, and Roger S. Lamm of Florence, SC; a daughter, Carole Lamm Gamble of Myrtle Beach, SC; Grandsons, Jonathan Quincy Gregg and Edward Brent Lamm; granddaughters, Felicia Lamm Wilson and Allison Ayers Gamble; and a brother, Robert Earl (Peggy) Ayers of Hudson, FL, and six great grandchildren. A family memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 28, 2016, in the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Cain Calcutt-Stephens Funeral Home is assisting the family.
