Dorothy Patricia Cordell, 79, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017. She was born in Ansonia, Connecticut, the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Dorothy Fitzpatrick Meade. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Walter O. Cordell. She is survived by three children; D.J. (Janet) Cordell, Kimberly Cordell and Walter O. Cordell, Jr., all of Florence; a brother, Bob (Harriett) Meade; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
