Dorothy Jean Casey, 65, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018, at Carolinas Hospital.  She was born in Florence, a daughter of Dot Schipper.

Jean was a former tax accountant at Jackson Hewitt and a waitress at Shoney's Restaurant.  She was a member of Christ Church in Florence.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Gerard Casey; two sons, Bryan Eric Deas and Bob Deas; a step-son, Matthew Lewis Casey; and a sister, Patricia Land.

A church led memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 15, 2018, at Christ Church, 2305 N. Williston Road, Florence, SC 29506.  Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the services.
