Florence, SC Dorothy "Dottie" Ballard Bryan, 78, 0f Florence, S.C., passed away peacefully at her home Saturday March 7, 2015 With Peggie, by her side. She was born in Marion, Alabama the daughter of the late Donnie Ben and Eva Morgan Ballard. She graduated nursing school from the University of Alabama "ROLL TIDE" and received a Master in nursing from MUSC. She was a devoted nurse and educator for 55 years. Dottie is predeceased by her husband of 43 years Jim, a sister Mildred and two brothers, Ben and Jack Ballard. She is survived by a daughter, Peggy Wininger and her husband Richard of Florence, S.C.; one sister Jeanette and a special sister-in-law Grace Ballard Many nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved cat Sebastian.
