Pamplico, SC Dorothy C. Ansay, 82, of Pamplico, SC, died on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. She was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late William E. and Lena Jones Campbell. Dorothy was predeceased by, in addition to her parents, two husbands, Howard L. DeWitt and E.R. Ansay, as well as several siblings. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Dorothy is survived by two children, Catherine (Marty) Lee of Florence and James DeWitt of Pamplico; one sister, Ethel Doughty of Columbia; two grandchildren, Byron A. McWhite and William M. Lee; and one great grandchild, Hunter Lee. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at Cain Funeral Home.
