Florence, SC Dorothea Maria Erkens Tilley, 51, of Florence, S.C., died Monday, February 11, 2013 at Carolinas Hospital System in Florence, S.C. She was born in Rheydt, Germany, a daughter of the late Winfried and Margret Hochhausen Erkens. She is predeceased by her husband, Ronald Dean Tilley who passed away in 2012. She is survived by one son, Michael Davis of Florence, S.C.; two daughters, Susan Owens and Kathrin Erkens, both of Florence, S.C.; three brothers, Michael Erkens, Christoph Erkens and Gregor Erkens, all of Germany; one sister, Bernadette Bausch of Germany ; six grandchildren, Madison and Braden Tyler; Logan and Lilah Tweed; Kylee Davis and Peyton Owens. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 15, 2013 at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Cain Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10-10:45 A.M. at the funeral home prior to the service. Cain Funeral Home is assisting the family.
