We are saddened to announce that Donna Campbell, 77, passed away peacefully Monday morning, July 6, 2026, after a month long stay in the McLeod Hospice House.

She was born on January 6, 1949 and was raised by Elton and Blanche Cox in Mullins, SC. After moving to Florence in the early 70’s she worked at Bruce Hall, then at the Florence Civic Center, and most recently worked for Congressman Jim Clyburn’s office before retiring to take care of her mother. She was known for having a green thumb, she loved her house plants, flowers and animals.

Donna leaves one son, Steven Campbell; daughter-in law, Alicia Campbell; three grandchildren, Madison (Lucas) Cobb, Audrey (Ryan) Ashley, Cate Campbell; and three great grandchildren, Parker, Paisley, and Lillian. Donna also had a really strong group of friends, Joan, Mickey, Pat and Shirley, and their love and support has meant the world to her family.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Honorage Nursing Home and the staff at McLeod Hospice House for their wonderful care of Donna this year.

A Celebration of Life with visitation will be held from 11:00 am – 12:00 noon Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Calcutt-Dowling Funeral Home.
