Mrs. Diana McNair Powell, 75, wife of Ernest Powell, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019.  Mrs. Powell was born in Florence, the daughter of the late James E. McNair, Sr. and Louise Williams McNair.  She is also preceded in death by her brother, James E. McNair, Jr.

Mrs. Powell was a member of Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church.  She was the former owner/operator of the craft store, Knots-A-Lot in Florence.

Surviving Mrs. Powell, in addition to her husband of 57 years, are a brother-in-law, Ashley (Pat) Grier; two sisters-in-law, Jeanette Cochran and Miriam McNair; and a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A Celebration service, directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home, will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 30, 2019, at Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church, 7432 E. National Cemetery Road, Florence, SC, followed by burial in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the burial.
