Dennis Januesheske, 52, of Florence, passed away from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at MUSC in Charleston SC. He was born October 19, 1959 in Sparta, WI to Richard Januesheske and Theresa Kick Januesheske. Dennis served from 1979-1999 in the US Navy and retired as Electronics Technician Chief Petty Officer. He was proud to serve in the US Military and was very proud of his submarine service. He loved to share his Naval experience with children. Dennis was an avid Harley Rider, loved his motorcycles and the freedom of riding in the open air. He loved classic cars and building motorcycles. Dennis was loved by his wife, Shannon Januesheske and his step-son, Chandler Sawyer, who will miss him dearly. Dennis was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa Kick Januesheske. Survivors include his wife, Shannon Spring Januesheske of Florence, step-son, Chandler Sawyer, Father, Richard Januesheske, brother, Dean (Diane) Januesheske, sisters, Mary Januesheske and Pauline (Larry) Whitehead, all of Wisconsin, and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Florence National Cemetery on Wednesday, 6/6/12, at 11:00 AM. Cain Funeral Home is honored to assist the family.
