Dennis Trent Hicks, 56, of Effingham, SC, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Hartsville, SC, a son of Thomas Hicks and the late Opal Cato Hicks. He is survived by his wife, Sherrie Silverio Hicks of Effingham, SC; two brothers, Wayne and Frankie Hicks, both of Florence, SC; and one sister, Karen McCants. A gathering in CELEBRATION OF HIS LIFE will be held Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Lynches River (under the bridge on Hwy 52) starting at 11:00 AM.
