David Norman Jeremiah, 60, of Effingham, SC, passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021.  He was born in Somerville, NJ, a son of the late Norman and Ann Renz Jeremiah.  David was a chaplain for Regency Southern Care Hospice for 17 years and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Darlington.  He was known for being a practical jokester.

Surviving is his wife of 37 years, Dianne Denise Jeremiah; son, James Marcus Jeremiah (Cherith); daughter, Danielle Nicolle Jeremiah Schleifer (Robert); four grandchildren, Acacia Dianne Jeremiah, Amber Noel Jeremiah, Stephen Edward Schleifer and Theodore Jost Schleifer; a brother, Jeffery Jeremiah (Leah); a sister, Sharon Jeremiah Seabolt (Loren); and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a memorial service at 1:00 PM on Sunday, March 21, 2021, at Victory Baptist Church, 633 W. Smith Ave., Darlington, SC 29532.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Regency Southern Care Hospice.
