David Stacy Hoffmeyer, 74, of Florence, SC, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021.  He was born in Florence, SC, a son of the late William Milton and Myrtle Cox Hoffmeyer.  In addition to his parents, he is also predeceased by two brothers, Ernest Lawrence Hoffmeyer and William Conrad Hoffmeyer.

David attended Florence Darlington Technical College and retired from SONOCO Products after more than 20 years.

He is survived by two sisters in law, Mary Hoffmeyer (Ernest) and Fran Hoffmeyer (William); and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Mount Hope Cemetery.  Due to COVID-19, face coverings and social distancing will be observed.
