David Brody, 47, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2019.  He was born in Mount Vernon, NY, a son of Elaine Jantz D'Ambrosio Brody and Allan Brody.

David was a volunteer firefighter who worked at Ground Zero during 9/11.  He also volunteered for the Red Cross in Louisiana during Hurricane Katrina.  He was an avid member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his parents and his step-mother, Joann; his wife, Donna Marie Reimann Brody; children, Brandon, Cassidy, Zachary and Ashlee; brothers, Danny Brody (Jeanette) and their daughter, Lauren, and Jason Brody (Juliessa) and their children, Julia, Jessica and Jonathan.  He is predeceased by a brother, Thomas Brody.

A Christian Wake Service will be held at 6 PM on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, in the chapel of Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.  Visitation will follow until 8 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial, directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home, will be held at 11 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church.
