Darlene Annette Christopher, 64, of Timmonsville, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the McLeod Regional Medical center.  Darlene was born in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of the late Nathan and Helen Freeman.  She was a retired supervisor with MedStar in Maryland and was of the Baptist Faith.  She enjoyed refinishing furniture and doing small crafts, where she sold them at her booth at Palmetto Peddlers.  Darlene loved visiting Myrtle Beach to see the ocean.

She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by a sister, Diane Pixeler and a brother, Joe Freeman.

Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Richard Barry "Chris" Christopher, Sr.; a son, Richard Barry "Riche" Christopher, Jr.; three sisters, Juanita Longley, Cheryl Jordan, and Gloria Quintaro; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 1, 2018, in the chapel of Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at her home after the service.
