Darlene Justice Fields, 76, of Effingham, SC, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at her residence.  She was born in Huntington, Utah, a daughter of the late George Jennings Justice and Esther Majors Justice.  She is also predeceased by a sister, Esther Gertson, a brother, Orson Justice, and a great-grandchild, Savanah Kennison.

Darlene was retired as a long distance truck driver and she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

She is survived by her daughter, Wendi (Frank) Slemmer of Effingham; her son, C. Dail (Beth) Weaver, III of Nashville, TN; one sister, Marie Bromley of Salt Lake City, UT; two brothers, Mark Justice of Huntington, UT and John Justice of Clawson, UT; five grandchildren, Christopher J. Kennison of Florence, and SSGT. Paul F. Slemmer, III, of Florence, currently stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri, Emily Willow Weaver, Lauren Ensley Weaver and James Andrew Weaver, all of Knoxville, TN; and three great-grandchildren.
