FLORENCE A memorial service for Daniel D. "Dano" Rogerson, III, will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday February 5, 2011 at Cain Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Florence Area Humane Society, Post Office Box 4808, Florence, SC 29502 or House of Hope, 1020 W. Darlington Street, Florence, SC 29501. Mr. Rogerson, 40, died February 2, 2011, in Florence, SC. He was born March 14, 1970, in Augusta, GA, to Judy C. McQueen and Daniel D. Rogerson, Jr. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Grover C. and Virginia B. McQueen. Dano loved Jesus followed by Carolina Football, Dale Earnhardt, Sr and Jr., as well as his dog, Bailey. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of New Generations; especially caregivers, Venolia D. Murphy, Sylvia Burgess, Tiffany McFadden, and Keisha Ingram. D. and Virginia Rogerson of Florence; his much loved cousins, Laure, Bonny, Gary, Adam, Virginia, Grace, Brian, Will, David, Ginny, and Jonathan; step-brothers, Dewayne, Mikey, and Jonathan Scott; and special friends, Susan B.
