FLORENCE, SC Cynthia Marie Matthews Corder, 46, of Effingham, SC died Saturday, March 16, 2013 in Myrtle Beach, SC. She was born June 20, 1966 in Valley City, ND to Charlotte Olson Matthews and the late Harry Matthews. Survivors include: mother - Charlotte Olson Matthews of Effingham, SC; sons - Jordan Matthews of Effingham, SC and Matthew Corder of Charleston, SC; daughter - Haley Grace Corder of Aynor, SC; sister - Lynette (Doug) Church of Florence, SC; paternal grandmother - Estelle Matthews of Coward, SC; niece - Ally (Eric) Blue of Florence, SC; nephew - Lee Taylor of Florence, SC; great-nephew - Rylan Blue of Florence, SC; uncles - Charles Parnell of Effingham, SC and Leo Olson of Lamar, SC; aunt - Viola Parnell of Effingham, SC; and a special friend - Mike Shaw of Florence, SC. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013, from 6 to 8 pm at Gospel Temple Worship Center, 3987 West Palmetto St., Florence, SC 29501.
