Clydia McGee Hatfield, 89, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

Mrs. Hatfield was born in Florence County, SC a daughter of the late LeRoy McGee and Dorothy Louise McKnight McGee Weatherford. She was a member of Mizpah Baptist Church and had currently attended Friendship Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, John Dudley Hatfield; 3 children, Hank, Donnie, and Jackie; and by all 9 of her siblings.

Surviving are her daughter, Cynthia (Joseph) Hartfield Johnson; step-daughter, Deborah Farley; 20 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Sunday, September 27, 2026 at Calcutt-Dowling Funeral Home with a funeral service to be held at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories.
