Clifton Eugene Tyson, 58, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022.  He was born in Florence, the son of Luke Clifton Tyson and Ellen Olivia Newman Tyson.  Mr. Tyson worked for many years in the grocery industry, beginning as a cashier at Winn Dixie then Gibson One Stop, and finally as a sales manager at Food Lion.

He is survived by his sister, Sandra (Johnny) Tyson Miles of Effingham and a half-brother, Donald Driggers of Texas.  Special thank you goes out to Terry and Rhonda Byrd, Carrie Baker, Kay Taylor, Tim Morris and Ms. Gray.

There is no service or visitation planned at this time.  Cain Calcutt Funeral Home is honored to serve the Tyson family.
