Claudia Hughes Johnson, 82, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023.  She was born in Puyallup, Washington, a daughter of the late Claude Franklin and Beatrice Ellen Lyman Napier.  She is also predeceased by her first husband, Timothy S. Hughes, her 2nd husband, Arthur Johnson and her brother, David Leroy Napier.  Claudia attended New Spring Church in Florence and was retired from Ashland City Schools where she worked in food service.  She loved her family.

Surviving is her children, Traci M. Bartley (Timothy Timko), Christopher Hughes (Sandy), and Jennifer Myers (Jim); six grandchildren, Michelle Steele, Kristina Wood, Cody Smyly, Allison Flegge, Aaron Hughes and Alec Hughes; six great-grandchildren, Clayton Steele, Lindsey Steele, Carter Mathie, Anden Gorsuch, Kinleigh Flegge and Evalyn Flegge; a sister, Linda Cox (Gary); and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation services are entrusted to Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.
