A graveside service for Mrs. Clara Gillespie Everett, wife of the late Frank Everett will be 3 PM Saturday, October 31, 2009, in Mount Hope Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Chris Handley. A visitation will be held 5-7 PM on Friday October 30, 2009 at Cain Funeral Home of Florence. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17 Chicago, Ill. 60601-7633. Mrs. Everett, 91, died October 28, 2009, in a local nursing facility. She was born January 30, 1918, in Florence, SC, to the late Clarence and Geneva Dunlap Gillespie. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a sister, Geneva Holman. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Florence. Survivors include: daughter, Clara (Philip) Leach of Florence, SC; grandchildren, Charles "Dean" (Bonnie) Leach of Swansea, SC, and Pamela (Jim) Sills of Bluffton, SC; great-grandchildren, Phillip Leach of Rock Hill, SC, Megan and Katie Sills both of Bluffton, SC; and a sister, Sara (Bubba) Neeley of Columbia, SC. The family would like to thank Dr. Gilliam Skinner and the entire staff of Southland Health Care Center for their loving care of Mrs. Everett.
