Mrs. Clara Barden Melvin Bolick, 77, of Jacksonville, FL died August 23, 2009, in Florence, SC. She was born June 29, 1932, in Vero Beach, FL, to the late Daniel and Alma Melton Barden. She was also predeceased by husbands, Virgil O. Melvin, and James L. Bolick; sister, Mazie Gayle; and brothers, Ralph Barden, Billy Barden, and Claude Tapley. At her request there will be no services at this time. A memorial and scattering of her ashes will be conducted at a later date in her childhood hometown of Vero Beach, FL.
