Christopher "Chris" Young, 57, of Florence, SC, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022.  He was born in Florence, a son of the late Bobby and Sandra Kaye Poston Young.  He is also predeceased by a brother, Delton Young.

Chris enjoyed building and traveling, and he loved his family time.  He had a love for God and his church.  He also had a love for animals.

Chris is survived by two daughters, Taylor Britt of Coward and Miranda Morris of Florence; a son, Christopher "CJ" Young of Florence; his fiancée, Loretta F. Dudney of Florence; four granddaughters, three brothers; two sisters; and several other friends and relations whom he loved so very much.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
