Christopher Mark Fraley, 64, of Florence, SC, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025.  Mark was born in Florence,  son of the late Victor V. and Frances Evelyn Gore Fraley.  He retired from the insurance industry with ING America and was a member of Highland Park UMC.  Mark loved hunting, fishing and Clemson Tigers football. He dearly loved his granddaughter, who was the apple of his eye.  He had a huge heart which is exemplified through the gift of organ donation.

He was preceded in death by his  parents and sister, Anita Gaye Armstrong. Surviving are his wife, Julie Griffin Fraley; son, Christopher Mark Fraley II (Crystal); granddaughter, Elizabeth Fraley; three step-children, Tara Cooper, Robert Howerton and Austin Howerton (Clarissa);  brother, Stephen Victor Fraley;  sisters, Pamela Suzanne Palmer and Kathryn Lynn Cooper (Ben); and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Cain Calcutt Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held following at 1PM at the residence, 3331 West Forest Lake Drive, Florence, SC 29501.
