A memorial service for Christine Elizabeth Sargent will be at 11:00 AM Saturday April 24, 2010 in Cain Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Richard McMichael. Mrs. Sargent, 73, died Tuesday April 20, 2010, in a local nursing home. She was born, February 20, 1937 in Cascade, VA. Surviving are: daughters, Ramona (Sampson) Fountain of Florence, Brenda (Juel) Fountain serving in the USAF in Japan and Miranda Fountain of Philadelphia, PA; sons, Danny (Keisha) Jones and Mario (Denise) Fountain of New York City, NY and Percy Fountain of Philadelphia, PA; her mother, Diretta Eanes of Eden, NC; brother, Henry Harrison of Eden, NC; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren and the extended McMichael family.
