Obituary

Chester L. Packard, Jr DOB 10/25/30, died 10/8/11. Survived by five children, Vern (Chris) Packard, Jim (Nancy) Packard, Shelley (Larry) Davis, Sue (Drew) Wentworth, and Donna (Reggie) Aceto; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Marion Mitchell and Clara Fox; several nieces and nephews, and special love Dot Ansay. Chet was an Army veteran and active member of the Moose Lodge. He retired from Eastman Kodak Company in 1986. He moved to South Carolina in 1990 where he enjoyed coin collecting, the beach, sunshine, and water. He was an avid golfer and member at Oakdale Country Club, and was also a proud father. Donations in his memory can be made to the Special Olympics Fund at 1276 Assembly St., Columbia, SC 29201.
