Cheryl Agnes Anderson, 70, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, in the McLeod Hospice House. She was born in Conway, SC a daughter of the late Francis and Eva Thompson Anderson. Cheryl served as a nurse in the Florence community from 1980 to 2013, having worked for Florence General Hospital, Dr. N. Lee Morris, Dr. Frank Boysia and Dr. Verne Cutler. She most recently took up the craft of knitting to pass the time.

She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by a brother, Harold Anderson.

Surviving are a son, Jamie Leon Streett and his half siblings, Justin and Jenna Streett and their mother, Beth Streett; a brother, Frank Anderson; two sisters, Carolyn Johnson and Anita Barnhill; a number of nieces and nephews, and her two fur babies, Jax and Mae.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 4, 2026, in the chapel of Calcutt-Dowling Funeral Home with visitation to follow.
