Florence, SC Charles Edgar Mangum, Jr., 61, of Florence, S.C., passed away Friday, July 12, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Charlotte, N.C., a son of Charles Edgar Mangum, Sr. and the late Dorothy Strawn Mangum. He is predeceased by his mother and a sister, Cindy Monenschein. Charles is survived by his father of Brookfield, Florida; wife, Patricia Rodeheffer Mangum of Florence, S.C.; two step-children, Steven Westefeld of Coventry, RI; Barbara Wallace of Lexington, S.C.; one brother, Robert Mangum of Chapin, S.C.; One sister, Mindy Scarborough of Columbia, S.C.; four grandchildren, Matthew, Amanda, and Megan Westefeld of Coventry, RI and Parker Wallace of Lexington, S.C. A memorial service will be held Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Cain Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
