Charles Monroe "Chuck" Lemacks, 56, of Florence, S.C., sailed away with the angels on Saturday, January 7, 2017 after a brief but determined battle with cancer. Chuck was born in 1960 in Walterboro, S.C., a son of the late John Carroll Lemacks, Sr. and Betty Ruth Burks Lemacks. He has now joined his parents and sister, Sandy Lemacks Chapman, in Heaven for celebration. Chuck is survived by a large and loving family: his daughters and lights of his life, Hillary and Connor Lemacks; his brother, John Lemacks (Dale Dawson); his nieces, Christi Lemacks Ruff (Alan), Kim Lemacks Baker (Marty), Brooke Chapman Evans (Adam), and Katherine Chapman Anderson(Jeffrey); his nephew, Chad Chapman(Lauren); and his best friends, Winnie Rae Miller and Ray Boyd. Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Highland Park United Methodist Church with a luncheon reception following the service.
