A memorial service for Cephas Perry Quattlebaum, Sr. will be at 3:00PM, Sunday, December 7, 2008, in the Chapel of the Presbyterian Community of SC. conducted by Rev.Kenneth Craig. Interment at a later date in Lakeside Cemetery, Conway. Memorials may be made to the Presbyterian Community of SC, 2350 Lucas Street, Florence, SC 29501. Mr. Quattlebaum, 93, of Florence, died Tuesday, December 2, 2008, in the Presbyterian Community of SC. He was born January 14, 1915, in Conway to the late McQueen and Elizabeth Harllee Quattlebaum. He was a graduate of Clemson University and a member of Clemson's Lettermans Club. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church, Charlotte. He was a Civil Engineer for several companies in Charlotte. Surviving, are: daughters, Elizabeth Q. Hawkinson of Columbia, SC, and Janette Q. Luhn of Vidalia, GA; son, C. Perry Quattlebaum, Jr of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
