Cecilia Alerio Hawley, 94, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.  She was born in Susquehanna, PA, a daughter of the late Matthew and Marie DeRosa Alerio.  She is also predeceased by her husband, Robert Charles "Bob" Hawley; a son, David Clarence Tyndall; a sister, Josephine Alerio Benson, and a brother, Matthew Alerio.  Cecilia attended Dawsey United Methodist Church and was the owner/operator of Tyndall's Bridal Shop for 25 years.  She also worked 15 years at Bendix Aviation Corp.

She is survived by a daughter, Theresa (Ray) Foxworth; a son, Thomas VanGorder; three grandchildren, Douglas Foxworth, Ann Foxworth and Mark VanGorder; and a number of nieces and nephews.
