Mrs. Cecilia "Annie" Brightwell Downes, 66, of Florence, SC, died December 29, 2010, in Florence, SC. She was born December 1, 1944, in St. Albans, WV, to the late Cecil and Jessie Madelyn Mitchell Brightwell. Annie was preceded in death by her parents. She was a lover of music, laughter, and football. Survivors include: husband Patrick Downes of Florence, SC; children, Cathy Ann Carder, Mary Jo Outten, Patty Lynn Espinosa all of Orange Park, Fl, Patrick Downes of Wilmington, DE, Michael Downes of Clearwater, FL, and Kelly Suzanne McDonald of Florence, SC; sisters, Arletta Sue Adams, and Linda (Warnie) Kay Lore both of St. Albans, WV; 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.
