Catherine Wentz Lawhon, 61, of Florence, S.C., died Sunday, July 9, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Charlotte, N.C., daughter of Peggy Kerns Wentz and the late James Paul Wentz. She is survived by her mother, Peggy Kerns Wentz; her husband, Wilton R. "Randy" Lawhon, Jr. of Florence, S.C.; one son, Wilton R. "Randy" Lawhon, III of Aiken, S.C.; three grandchildren, McKayla Lawhon, Christian M. Richardson, and Emma Richardson; mother of her grandchildren, Leah Harvey; two sisters, Cameron Whidden Thurman and Caren Brown; one nephew, Brandon Whidden.
