Carolyn Gause Guffey, 79, of Florence, S.C., died peacefully at her residence surrounded by her family on Monday March 25 th She was born in Loris, S.C., she was the daughter of the late George and Roxy Cox Gause. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Fred Guffey, a great-grandchild, Lloyd Guffey and 5 brothers and 4 sisters. She is survived by two sons, Keith Edward(Angela) Guffey and Rodney Alan(Paige) Guffey both of Florence, S.C.; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
