Caroline Elizabeth "Boo" Sprott, 53, of Florence, S.C., died Friday, January 4, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Florence, S.C., a daughter of the late Alexander McTaggart and Bettie Jane Jackson Sprott. She worked for many years as the pastry chef at P.A.'s Restaurant. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and was known for her exquisite desserts. She is survived by one brother, Mac Sprott (Sue) of Florence, S.C.; two sisters, Sarah "Missy" Caulkins (Steve) of Florence, S.C.; Gaye Joslin (Jeff) of Florence, S.C.; several nieces and nephews; also by special friends, Lynn and Glenn Turner. A memorial service will be held Monday, January 7, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. at Cain Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of Mac and Sue Sprott, 2525 Meridian Street, Florence, S.C.
