Carl Vernon Gaddy, 69, of Florence, SC, passed away at his residence after an illness.  Carl was born in Palatka, FL, a son of the late Clyde Ashby Gaddy and Grace Alma Barrineau Gaddy.  He was also preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie and Carroll "Buddy" and a sister, Linda.

Carl was a member of South Florence Baptist Church and was a man who loved the simple things in life, his Lord and Savior, wife, daughters and grandchildren.

Surviving are his loving wife of 42 years, Cheryl Reynolds Gaddy, two daughters, Summer (Carson) Cribb and Ainsleigh (Ben) Brown and his grands, Bella, Cameron and Cooper, a sister, Clydette Covington (James "Pepsi"), special niece, Alaina (Matt) Southern and their son, Eli and a special nephew, Jeffrey(Crystal) Gaddy, mother-in-law, Grace Davis, sisters-in-law, Pam(Bill) Bullock and Tracy (Birch) Skinner and their son, Ally.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 AM on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at South Florence Baptist Church following the Sunday Morning Worship Service.  Cain Calcutt Funeral Home is honored to serve the Gaddy Family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to South Florence Baptist Church or McLeod Hospice.
