Brigette Erna Fennell, of Florence, SC, passed away on January 17, 2025.  She was born in Aschaffenburg, West Germany, a daughter of the late Kilian Franz Fath and Maria Frieda Noth Fath. She was a member of Peace Free Will Baptist Church and retired from the restaurant business.  She enjoyed bowling, fishing and swimming.

She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband of 58 years, Jahue Fennel and two sisters, Rosel Farmer and Emmi Heilman.

Surviving are a son, Eddie Maxwell Thompson and his wife, Beth, three sisters, Elfriede Kohler, Christine Sellers, and Erika Fath; grandson, Tyrel Thompson; granddaughter, Whitney King (Brad); two great-grandsons, Thatcher and Shepard King; a brother, Wolgang Fath, and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Fennell requested no services and was entombed at Mt. Hope Cemetery with her husband.  Cain Calcutt Funeral Home is honored to fulfill Mrs. Fennell's wishes.

Memorials may be sent to Peace Free Will Baptist Church or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
