Bobby Lane, 58, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022.  He was born in Dillon, SC, a son of the late James Robert Lane and Dessie Virginia "Ginny" Watford.  In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a sister, Amy Lane.  Bobby worked in construction until he became disabled.  He loved sports, especially the Clemson Tigers, the Dallas Cowboys and the LA Dodgers.  He also enjoyed playing pool and fishing.

Surviving is his son, Devin Carraway of Effingham; daughter, Holly Lane of Florence; three brothers, Joey Watford (Angie) of Florence, Jimmy Watford (Christina) of Coward and Patrick Watford (Tina) of Florence; sister, Kammy Benton (Rick) of Timmonsville; grandson, Braeson Carraway of Effingham; step-father, Joseph C. Watford; special friend, Kelly Hall; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 3, 2022 in the Cain Calcutt Funeral Home Chapel with an Inurnment to follow in Mount Hope Cemetery in Florence, SC.  The family will receive friends at 2:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
