A memorial service for Billy Hyman will be at 4:00PM Thursday June 25, 2009 in the Chapel of Calvary Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Phillip Easterling and Rev. Mike Mills. The family will receive friends at the church following the service and at his sister's home, 206 S. Main St., Timmonsville. Mr. Hyman, 62, died June 21, 2009, at his residence. He was born, October 5, 1946 in Mullins, SC, to the late Willis Lup and Lexie Keith Hyman. He was also predeceased by his live in companion, Harold Calvin. Mr. Hyman was employed a lumber company in New Orleans, LA for 25 years. He moved to Timmonsville after his home was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving are: sisters, Patricia Ann Creech of Timmonsville, Dorothy Cumbee of Spartanburg, Gladys Woodard of Goldsboro, NC and Jean Stokes of Effingham; seventeen nieces and nephews.
