Billy Don Black, 77, of Florence, S.C., passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday, August 5, 2017. He was born in Arab, Alabama, son of the late Clifton Cleo and Mary Leo Whisenant Black. He is survived by his wife, Linda Benson Black of Florence, S.C.; three sons, Neil C. Black (Deborah) of West Grove, PA; Alan C. Black of Taipei, Taiwan; Daniel K. Black (Melinda Pomeroy-Black) of LaGrange, Ga.; one sister, Beth Jones (Joseph) of Fayetteville, TN.; two grandchildren, Noah T. Black and Ethan C. Black. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 19th, 2 PM, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, 1340 North Main Street, Arab, Alabama, 35016.
