Beverly Marie Hudson, 76, of Florence, SC, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024 peacefully with her beloved family by her side.  She was born in Johnstown, NY, to Howard and Beatrice Heroth Duesler.  In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her husband, Wayne L. Hudson; a sister, Clara J. Duesler; and Snuggles, her canine companion.

Beverly graduated from high school in June of 1966 and got married in July 1966 to Wayne, her husband of almost 58 years.  She was a hardworking farmer's wife and loved children, babysitting many over the years.  She also worked at Fort Plain Central School in the elementary cafeteria.  Beverly loved crafting, shopping, growing flowers and keeping a clean house.

Surviving is her son, Stacey (Mary) Hudson; two daughters, Brenda (Ben Green) Hoke and Tammy Flaherty; eight grandchildren, Ashley (James) Agard, Ryan Hoke, Briana (Timothy) McGuire, Juliana Hoke, Kelly (Ronald) Bramer, Richelle Fuhs, Bailey (Jacob) Elvington and Stacey Ray Hudson II; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

We are most grateful for the gift of friends like Susan McGrath, who have been so kind, loving and thoughtful as a neighbor and best friend.  We would also like to show appreciation for other neighbors that treated mom with kindness and friendship while living in Florence, SC. Your prayers, visits, calls, flowers and every act of kindness, have given us strength and inspiration for facing the loss of our beautiful mother. May God ever bless each of you.

A graveside Service of Remembrance will take place on Saturday, September 14th at 11:00 AM at the family plot at the Freysbush Cemetery in Fort Plain, NY. Family and Friends are welcome to meet at 10:30 AM at BETZ, ROSSI BELLINGER & STEWART Family Funeral Home in Canajoharie, NY to be part of the funeral procession.

Following the graveside service, a celebration of life for Beverly Hudson will be held at the Fireman's Park in Fort Plain, NY from 12:30-3:30 PM. A light luncheon and refreshments will be served as we reminisce about our most cherished memories together, in hopes of finding some peace with the love and support of one another.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
